We launched our worker cooperative in 2022 to combat the 12 million tons of furniture that goes into landfills each year in the United States. Through our work, we give new life or purpose to old pieces while also providing a durable, unique, and beautiful alternative to flatpack wood-like furniture from big box stores.

You can often find her car camping and trekking in the woods with her dog, tending to her garden, or enjoying a good book with a cup of tea.
Tim moved to the Hudson Valley 10 years ago from Brooklyn. He has over twenty years of experience as a woodworker and furniture designer. During this time he designed and fabricated a varied array of custom furniture projects for his clientele ranging from simple, stand-alone pieces to full bedroom suites to built-ins. In 2019 Tim and his wife built a tiny house on wheels and moved to Esopus. There he focused on addressing concerns over sustainability in woodworking practices and materials. His ultimate conclusion: whether building pieces from reclaimed materials, customizing and restoring vintage pieces, using electric machinery to do so or using nothing but hand tools, fight against the disposable furniture market by making high quality, beautiful pieces!
