2025 Fundraiser 〰️
We launched our worker cooperative in 2022 to combat the 12 million tons of furniture that goes into landfills each year and to create an accessible path to ownership and a steady source of income for aspiring and working craftspeople alike.
For the last 3 years, we have given new life to hundreds of pieces of loved, worn, and broken wood furniture, providing a cost-competitive alternative to big box stores for our community.
We have also grown our team from 2 to 9 people, investing more than a thousand hours to train people in the skills of our craft. We are committed to continue supporting the growing repair community in the Hudson Valley and to teaching others these skills.
OUR ASK
After steadily building our business, team, workshop, and profile for the last 3 years, we need help to support our mission-aligned work…
We need to raise $30,000 to:
train more people in furniture repair and refinishing,
host more local classes and skills workshops for the community,
rescue more found and donated furniture from landfill, and
continue to offer affordable furniture repair services to our community.
Help us become a Hudson Valley institution, providing accessible and critical services to our community from fixing broken chairs to refinishing tables to reimagining an old radio cabinet.
Every dollar you can give helps us keep furniture out of the landfill and helps train local hands.
Even if you’re not in place to give financially, please help us spread the word about our shop (& services) to friends and family in the Hudson Valley. We want to help them get their old or worn wood furniture repaired, refinished, or re-imagined!
